Meet Mondo is an animated short that depicts Mondo, a small green monkey, in a unique environment. Mondo himself is rather carefree, but accident-prone. However, this does not stop him from attempting to adapt to his new home. Van is the red monster that the city sits upon. He appears to be a bit of a grouch (who could blame him?), but ultimately welcomes Mondo. He even chooses to entertain him occasionally.
The color palette is vibrant and warm. Mondo is the only green element, which brings attention to him as an outsider and even alludes to his contrasting demeanor. The visual elements are smooth and stylized, which makes the piece approachable to young children as well as adults.
